6 days trekking tour in the Anti-Atlas mountains – Jbel Saghro
Day 1: Marrakech-Tichka – Ouarzazate – Tagdilt
We pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and leave early for Ouarzazate via the Tizi N’Tichka pass 2260m. After discovering the Dades valley, we drive south across a desert plateau to the village of Tagdilt. Overnight at a local’s house at 1650m. 6 hours drive.
Day 2: Tagdilt – N’Iferd pass – Irefd – N’Ouarg plateau (2250m)
After loading our luggage on the mules. We cross a huge plateau before climbing to the Tizi N’iferd pass (2400m). Then we descend to the Iferd plateau. We set up our bivouac on a plateau often used by the semi-nomadic transhumants of the Aït Atta. Night in tents at 2250m. 5h30 walk.
Day 3: Almou N’Ouarg – Kouaouck summit (2600m) – Igli (1700m)
We start with a beautiful climb to the summit of Kouaouch (2600m). We have lunch. Descent via Tassegdilt. Night in tents in Igli at 1700m. 5h30 walk.
Day 4: Igli – Afourar gorges – Bab n’Ali – Ighazzoun oasis
We descend through the valley of Afourar, we pass by the small oasis of Bouallouz. Then we arrive at Ousdidene. The landscape opens up onto a huge plateau dominated by the peaks of Bab n’Ali. After the ascent to the famous Bab n’Ali gate, we continue to the oasis of Ighazoune.
Overnight in tents. 5 hours walking.
Day 5: Ighazoun Oasis – Tifdassine – Handour
Departure for Tifdassine. Descent of the valley. Lunch under the almond trees. Continuation to the village of Handour. Night at the inhabitant’s house. 5 hours walk.
Day 6: Handoure – Ighazzoun – Agdez – Ouarzazat – Marrakech
We will reach the town of Nkob. Then Agdz, Ait Saouen, Ouarzazate then we will cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tichka. We will have lunch. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon.
