Day 1: Marrakech – M’hamid desert
We pick you up at your accommodation in Marrakech at 6:00 am, to leave for M’hamid El ghizlane. Crossing the High Atlas and the city of Ouarzazate, lunch in Agdz and continuation to Zagora, continuation to the Saharan village of M’hamid where the paved road ends. Day 2: M’hamid – Erg Sidi Naji
After breakfast, meeting with the camel team, loading our luggage, food and tents on the camels, we will explore the old kasbahs of the palm grove, we will stop for lunch in the shade of the trees in a small oasis, then we will go We will continue to walk towards Sidi Naji. Night at the Bivouac. Duration 4 hours of walking.
Day 3: Sidi Naji – Erg Zhar
Nomadic breakfast, then we resume the walk we cross Erg Bousnina, stop for lunch, continue the walk towards the dunes of Erg Zhar, here you admire the sunset and enjoy the superb panorama. Night in bivouac. Duration 5 hours of walking.
Day 4: Erg Zhar – Erg Smar
In the morning you enjoy a good breakfast, the team prepares the luggage on the camels. We cross the Draa Valley. Lunch in a pleasant place. After lunch, we continue to Erg Smar. night in bivouac. Duration 5 hours of walking.
Day 5: Erg Smar – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast we will cross the Erg Sedra to go in the evening to the big dunes of Chegaga to admire the sunset over the magnificent dunes. Night at the bivouac in Erg Chegaga. Duration 5 hours of walking.
Day 6: Erg Chegaga Marrakech
From Erg Chagaga, we will return to Marrakech. We leave in 4×4, we cross the dry lake of Iriki. Then we will cross the village of Foum Zguid towards Taznakht, then we will visit the famous kasbah Ait ben haddou, then we will cross the spectacular High Atlas mountains. We will drop you off at your accommodation.
