9 days Ouarzazate desert tour
Day 1: Arrival in Ouarzazate
Reception and transfer to your hotel in Ouarzazate
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
Departure from your hotel for the Dades Valley where you will have time for lunch in a local restaurant in Boumalne Dades. During this trip you will admire the charm of the palm grove of Skoura, then you will explore the road of the thousand kasbahs. We continue towards the Todra gorges through Tinghir. After visiting the gorges, we continue to Merzouga, via Tinjdad, Jarf, Erfoud. We arrive in the Sahara of Merzouga, where we will take a camel ride and reach our bivouac in the desert, you will admire the magic of the desert and the sunset in the dunes. After a delicious dinner, we will spend the night in nomadic tents.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Nkob
After breakfast and the sunrise show, we ride a camel to the village of Merzouga. Then we go to Rissani, Alnif and Tazarine, where we have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we visit the palm grove of Tazarine, then we continue to the Berber village of Nkob. We visit the village and spend the night in a beautiful kasbah, with dinner.
Day 4: Nkoub – Agdez – Aït ben haddou
After your breakfast, we continue our road in the desert towards Ouarzazate, we will visit the kasbah of Agdz. Then we continue to Ait ben haddou. Drop off at your hotel.
Day 5: Aït ben haddou – Marrakech
We will visit the famous kasbah Ait ben haddou and we will leave towards Marrakech, via the magnificent mountains of the High Atlas. We will drop you off at the end of the afternoon in your accommodation.
Day 6: Guided tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the famous Jamea Fna square, then we will discover the historical monuments of the red city, the Badi and Bahia palaces, the Saadian tombs, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech – Essaouira
After your breakfast we leave for Essaouira. You will discover the extraction of argan oil in a cooperative, take beautiful photos of the goats on the argan trees. Visit of the medina and the port of the sqala, stroll on the beach. Dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 8: Guided tour of Essaouira
After your breakfast, you enjoy the guided tour of Essaouira with your local guide. This visit allows you to discover the attractions of Essaouira. Visit of the medina. Port of Sqala. The old Jewish quarter… dinner and night in your riad.
Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech Airport
After your breakfast we transfer you to Marrakech airport.
