3 days tour from Ouarzazate to Mhamid desert
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora – Tamgroute – Mhamid
Departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate towards the dunes of Mhamid, we follow the Draa Valley where you admire oases and kasbahs. We will have our lunch in Zagora, then we will continue to Mhamid. We will visit the Islamic library of Tamgrute then we will continue to our camp in Mhamid. dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Mhamid – Adventure in the Chegaga desert
After our breakfast at the camp we will explore the dunes of Chegaga on camel back, you will admire the sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. you will have time to have lunch in the shade of the acacia, then we continue our exploration of the dunes, we will spend our nights in camp at Erg Chegaga.
Day 3: Chegaga – Eriki – Taznakht – Ouarzazate
After a hearty breakfast in your bivouac, we will start our day by exploring Lake Iriki, a peaceful place where you can admire the surrounding desert landscapes. This lake, often dried up, offers a fascinating view of the local fauna and flora, perfect for an immersion in nature.
We will continue our journey to the Berber village of Taznakht, famous for its artisanal carpets. There, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch, typical of the region. In the afternoon, we will explore the village, discovering its crafts and authentic atmosphere. Finally, we will take the road back to Ouarzazate, where you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is where our tour ends, with unforgettable memories of the Berber landscapes and culture.
