Trek ascent of Toubkal 4 days from Marrakech
Day 1: Marrakech – Asni – Imlil – Tizi N’Mzik 2450m – Refuge Azib Tamsoult 2250m
We pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and transfer to the village of Imlil at about 1h30. Meet our team. After loading the mules; start our trek. We enjoy beautiful views of the Imlil valley. After 3 hours of climbing, we arrive at the M’zik pass at 2450m. Panoramic view of the Azaden valley. Lunch. Then, we will have about 1h30 walk to reach our refuge in Tamsoult.

Day 2: Tamsoult Refuge – Tizi Aguelzim Pass (3560m) – Toubkal Refuge (4167m)
Early in the morning, after your breakfast, we will leave for a rather steep climb via the Ighouliden waterfalls to the Aguelzim pass at 3560 metres altitude, about 4 hours of climbing. Lunch at the pass with a splendid view of the Atlas range and the Toubkal mountain. This is a fairly long day of about 6 to 7 hours walking. Overnight at the Toubkal refuge. You will sleep in dormitories with bunk beds in order to share rooms with other hikers.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge (3207m) – Ascent of Toubkal (4167m) – A long descent to Aremd Village (1940m)
Early morning departure around 4:30am for the ascent of Toubkal (4167m). The trail goes up a deep valley which then leads to the famous ridge that takes us to the summit of Toubkal. From the summit, we enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlas and the plain of Marrakech. Then, the descent by the same path to the refuge. After a break and lunch. We continue the descent by a mule track to the village Armed.
9 hours of walking. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: Aremd – Tizi N’Tamatert pass – Imlil – return to Marrakech
Departure after breakfast, destination the pass of Tizi N’tamatert at 2270 m altitude. We cross the beautiful and typical village of Tamatert. We continue our way through a forest of Aleppo pines. At the pass, we admire a splendid view of the Imlil valley, Imenane and all the Berber villages clinging to the mountain. Then the descent to Imlil. Lunch will be prepared by our cook under the big walnut trees. Meeting with our driver at about 3 pm for the return to Marrakech.
