9 days Casablanca Desert Merzouga Tour
1st day: Casablanca – Chefchaouen
Departure from Casablanca by a comfortable 4×4 transport with a French speaking driver.
Departure from the hotel at 9 am, we will visit the largest mosque in Morocco Hassan II.
We drive to Rabat we will visit:
- Hassan Tower.
- The Mohamed V Mausoleum facing the ocean.
- To the colonnades of the Hassan Tower as well as the Kasbah and the Oudais gardens.
After we drive to the blue pearl Chefchaouen.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2nd day: Chefchouen – Fes
After breakfast, we will head towards Volubilis the capital of Idris I.
it is one of the best preserved Roman remains in Morocco, to take advantage of the Roman ruins which spread over a vast area and offer beautiful views of the valley and the hills. Afterwards we cross the imperial city of Fes to spend the night.
3rd day: Fes
After breakfast, we will visit the old medina of Fez el Bali, the historic heart of Fez.
It is the oldest district of Fes.
As well as the souks in the medina, and the Kairaouine mosque.
Then we will visit the Merinid tombs, Return to the hotel to spend the night.
4th day: Fez – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will leave towards the desert through the city Azrou the most important Berber souk at the bottom of the anti Atlas with a hairy man of woods and high meadows that bloom every spring, enjoy beautiful views of forest landscapes cedars of the Middle, arrive in Midelt and its various Berber towns in the interior of Morocco for lunch; continuation to Erfoud through the Ziz valley is born in the eastern high Atlas and flows for 280KM, we drive to the gates of Merzouga, after arriving at the desert of Merzouga you camel trek to the big dunes in Morocco Erg Chebbi to pass the night in a Berber tent under the stars in the middle of the dunes. you enjoy the music of the Drums around the bivouac fire.
5th day: Merzouga
Wake up early to watch the sunrise, return from the bivouac to the hotel in the village of Merzouga by camel to have breakfast, and your shower, after you will have a trek to explore the great dunes of Merzouga, in the morning you will walk 3 hours, you enjoy a lunch that will be prepared in the dunes, and in the afternoon you walk 2 hours to reach your bivouac, you watch the sunset, and you spend the night in the bivouac with a delicious typical Berber dinner .
6th day: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will leave towards Ouarzazate, through the magnificent landscapes of the Todra Gorges in Tinghir, then we will cross the Valley of Roses, one of the most captivating and authentic regions of Morocco. Dinner and night at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
7th day: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, after we continue to the Kasbah of Telouet lunch will be there. then we will drive through Tizi n-tichka towards Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
8th day: Marrakesh
After breakfast, a visit to the famous Jamea Fna square in suite we will discover the historical monuments of the red city, Badi and Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
9th day: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, return to Casablanca.
