8 days Ouarzazate desert tour
Day 1: Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora – Tamgroute – Mhamid
Departure from your hotel in Ouarzazate towards the dunes of Mhamid. We follow the Draa Valley where you admire oases and kasbahs. We will have our lunch in Zagora, then we will continue to Mhamid. Visit the Islamic library of Tamgrout, then we will continue to our bivouac in Mhamid. dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Mhamid – Adventure in the Chegaga desert
After our breakfast at the bivouac we will explore the dunes of Chegaga on camel back, you will admire the sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. you will have time to have lunch in the shade of the acacia, then we continue our exploration of the dunes, we will spend our nights in bivouac at Erg chegaga.
Day 3: Chegaga – Eriki – Taznakht – Ait ben haddou
After breakfast in your bivouac we will explore the lake of iriki then we will head towards the Berber village of Taznakht where we will have our lunch. In the afternoon, we explore the village then drive to Ouarzazate, drop off at your hotel in the village of ait ben haddou.
Day 4: Aït ben haddou – Marrakech
We will visit the famous kasbah Ait ben haddou and we will leave towards Marrakech, via the magnificent mountains of the High Atlas. We will drop you off at the end of the afternoon in your accommodation.
Day 5: Guided tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, visit the famous Jamea Fna square, then we will discover the historical monuments of the red city, the Badi and Bahia palaces, the Saadian tombs, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira
After your breakfast we leave for Essaouira. You will discover the extraction of argan oil in a cooperative, take beautiful photos of the goats on the argan trees. Visit of the medina and the port of the sqala, stroll on the beach. Dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 7: Guided tour of Essaouira
After your breakfast, you enjoy the guided tour of Essaouira with your local guide. This visit allows you to discover the attractions of Essaouira. Visit of the medina. Port of Sqala. The old Jewish quarter… dinner and night in your riad.
Day 8: Essaouira – Marrakech Airport
After your breakfast we transfer you to Marrakech airport.
