8 days of Tangier desert tour
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
We welcome you at Tangier airport and transfer you to your accommodation, if you arrive in the morning you can enjoy the visit of the medina. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Departure from your hotel in Tangier to the city of chefchaouen via the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Arrival in Chefchaouene. After a guided tour and the discovery of this pearl of northern Morocco, we continue our journey to Fez where we will spend the night in a magnificent riad.
Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Departure from your hotel 07:00 am after breakfast towards Merzouga, we cross Irfan, Azrou, Midelt, Errachidia, Erfoud, lunch will be served in Rissani, in the afternoon we continue towards the sand dunes of Erg chebbi, Then you will ride a dromedary to reach the desert bivouac, on the trails in the dunes you will admire the sunset in the large dunes of Merzouga, dinner will be served around the fire of the bivouac with a musical show of the nomads’ tam-tams, you will sleep in nomadic tents.
Day 4: Merzouga desert
After the sunrise show, you will explore the dunes of Merzouga. The third day of the 4-day trek from Tangier to Marrakech through the desert allows you to discover the region of Merzouga. Then you ride a camel to join the 4×4 in the village of Merzouga. We will then visit the village of Khamlia, and we will discover the spiritual music of the Gnaoua desert. You will have Berber pizza for lunch. We will visit the nomads in their discovery tents of nomadic life. We then return to our bivouac to spend the night there.
Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Gorges – Kasbah Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will leave towards Ouarzazate, through the magnificent landscapes of the Gorges du Todra in Tinghir, then we will cross the Valley of Roses, one of the most captivating and authentic regions of Morocco. We arrive in Ouarzazate. Stop to take photos of Kasbah Taourirt and Atlas Studios. Then we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then we will cross Tizi n-tichka towards Marrakech. We will drop you off at your accommodation. dinner and night.
Day 6: Marrakech – Essaouira
After your breakfast we leave for Essaouira. You will discover the extraction of argan oil in a cooperative, take beautiful photos of the goats on the argan trees. Visit of the medina and the port of the sqala, stroll on the beach. Dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 7: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat
After your breakfast in your riad we leave for Rabat via El Jadida and Casablanca to visit the great Hassan II mosque. Then we see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudays in Rabat. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Departure
After your breakfast we transfer you to Tangier airport
