8 days Casablanca Merzouga desert
Day 1: Casablanca – Chefchaouen
Travel from Casablanca to Chefchaouen. Departure from the hotel at 9am, we will visit the largest mosque in Morocco Hassan II. We head to Rabat where we will visit: The Hassan Tower. The Mohamed V Mausoleum facing the ocean. The colonnades of the Hassan Tower as well as the Kasbah and the Oudayas gardens. Then we will go to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast, we will travel to Volubilis, the capital of Idris I. It is one of the best preserved Roman sites in Morocco, to appreciate the Roman ruins which cover a vast area and offer beautiful views of the valley and the hills. We will then cross the imperial city of Fee to spend the night there.
Day 3: Fes guided tour
After breakfast, we will visit the old medina of Fes el Bali, the historic heart of Fez. It is the oldest part of Fes. As well as the souks of the medina, and the Kairaouine mosque. Then we will visit the Merinid tombs. Return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 4: Fes – Merzouga
After breakfast, we will leave towards the desert passing by the city of Azrou the most important Berber souk at the foot of the anti Atlas with a hairy wooden man and high meadows that bloom every spring, enjoy the beautiful view on the landscapes of the cedar forests of the Middle, arrival in Midelt and its various Berber towns in the interior of Morocco for lunch; continuation to Erfoud through the Ziz valley born in the Eastern High Atlas and flowing over 280KM, we drive towards the gates of Merzouga, after arriving at the desert of Merzouga you take a camel ride towards the great dunes of the Morocco Erg Chebbi to spend the night in a Berber tent under the stars in the middle of the dunes. Enjoy the music of the drums around the campfire.
Day 5: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will leave for Ouarzazate, through the magnificent landscapes of the Todra Gorges to Tinghir, then we will cross the Valley of Roses, one of the most captivating and authentic regions of Morocco. Dinner and night at the hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then we will continue to the Kasbah of Telouet. Lunch will be served on site. Then we will pass through Tizi n-tichka towards Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Marrakech guided tour
After breakfast, visit the famous Jamea Fna square, then we will discover the historical monuments of the red city, the Badi and Bahia palaces, the Saadian tombs, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, return to Casablanca.
