10 days tour from Casablanca to the Desert
1st day: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Departure from Casablanca by a comfortable 4×4 transport and a French speaking driver (the hotel at 9:00 am).
We will visit the largest mosque in Morocco Hassan II.
We drive to Rabat to visit:
- Hassan Tower.
- The Mohamed V Mausoleum.
- The Kasbah and the Oudais gardens.
After we drive to the blue pearl Chefchaouen.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2nd day: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast, we will draft towards Volubilis the capital of Idriss I, it is one of the best preserved Roman remains in Morocco, to enjoy the Roman ruins which spread over a vast area and offer beautiful views of the valley and the hills. Afterwards we cross the imperial city of Fez to spend the night.
3rd day: Fes
After breakfast, we will visit the old medina of Fez el Bali the historic heart of Fez, it is the oldest district of Fez.
- The souks in the medina
- Kairaouine Mosque.
- The Merinid tombs were built in the 14th century.
- The Weapons Museum has a very rich collection of ancient weapons from prehistory to the middle of the 20th century.
Return to the hotel to spend the night.
4th day: Fez – Mdelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast we will leave towards the desert through the town of Azrou.
the most important Berber souk at the bottom of the antis Atlas with a hairy man of woods and high meadows that bloom every spring, enjoy the beautiful view of the landscapes of the cedar forests of the Middle reach Midelt and its various Berber communes of interior of Morocco for lunch; continuation to Erfoud through the Ziz valley is born in the eastern high Atlas and flows for 280KM, we drive to the gates of Merzouga, after arriving at the desert of Merzouga you camel trek to the big dunes in Morocco Erg Chebbi to pass the night in a Berber tent under the stars in the middle of beautiful sand. There will be drum music at the evening campfire.
5th day: Trek in Erg chebbi
Wake up early to watch the sunrise, return from the bivouac by camel to have breakfast, and a shower, you will enjoy a lunch which will be prepared in the dunes, you will walk 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours after noon. Return to the bivouac for dinner and overnight.
6th day: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge
After breakfast, we will leave for Dades, through the souk of Rissani, you will enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Todra gorges in Tinghir. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
7th day: Todra Gorge – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate
After breakfast we will draft towards Ouarzazate through the Valley of Roses:
One of the most captivating and authentic regions of Morocco. The Kasbah of Skoura: is a window that opens to preserve and present a fascinating panorama of cultural diversity.
When you arrive in Ouarzazate, you will spend the night at the hotel.
8th day: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the famous site of the Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou through the Ounila valley classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its Berber villages after we will make a visit to the Kasbah of Telouet (from Kasbah Glaoui) lunch will be on the spot. We will drive through Tizi n-tichka towards Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
9th day: Marrakesh
After breakfast, a visit to the famous site Jamel Fna Square in the first tourist city in Morocco Marrakech with its historical monuments, Badi Palace and Bahia. Saadian tombs. End of tour. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
10th day: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast, return to Casablanca
