10 days from Tangier to Morocco desert
Day 1: Arrival in Tangier
We welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and night.
Day 2: Guided tour of Tangier
Guided tour of Tangier. Your local guide will accompany you to explore the medina with these attractions. The American Legation Museum and Cape Spartel, the Kasbah Museum of Mediterranean Cultures, the Caves of Hercules. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes
Departure from your hotel in Tangier to the city of Chefchaouen via the city of Tetouan and the Rif mountains. Arrival in Chefchaouene. After a guided tour and the discovery of this pearl of northern Morocco, we continue our journey to Fez where we will spend the night in a magnificent riad.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Departure from your hotel 07:00 am after breakfast towards Merzouga, we cross Irfan, Azrou, Midelt, Errachidia, Erfoud, lunch will be served in Rissani, in the afternoon we continue towards the sand dunes of Erg chebbi, Then you will ride a dromedary to reach the desert bivouac, on the paths in the dunes you will admire the sunset in the large dunes of Merzouga, dinner will be served around the fire of the bivouac with a musical show of the nomads’ tam-tams, you sleep in nomadic tents.
Day 5: Merzouga – Dades Gorges – Kasbah Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we will leave towards Ouarzazate, through the magnificent landscapes of the Gorges du Todra in Tinghir, then we will cross the Valley of Roses, one of the most captivating and authentic regions of Morocco. We arrive in Ouarzazate. Stop to take photos of Kasbah Taourirt and Atlas Studios. Then we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then we will cross Tizi n-tichka towards Marrakech. We will drop you off at your accommodation.
Day 6: Guided tour of Marrakech
After your breakfast, you leave with your local guide to visit the historical monuments of the medina. Visit the Ben Youssef school, the Koutoubia, the Saadian tombs, the Badii and Bahia palaces. The Majorelles and Menara gardens. Dinner and night in your Riad.
Day 7: Excursion to Essaouira
After your breakfast, we will leave for Essaouira for a full day of discovery of this old medina of the Atlantic coast X-Mogador. You will discover the goats climbing on the argan trees and visit an argan oil cooperative. Then you continue to Essaouira. You cross the medina. Visit of the port of Sqala. Lunch in a restaurant near the beach.
Return to Marrakesh. Dinner and night in your riad.
Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
After your breakfast we leave for Casablanca, visit of the Hassan II mosque. Continuation to Rabat to visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Rabat – Tangier
We return to Tangier via Asilah. We will drop you off at Tangier airport.
