11 days from Tangier to Marrakech and desert
Day 1: Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca
We pick you up at your accommodation in Tangier to leave for Rabat where we will visit the Kasbah of the Oudays and the Hassan Tower, then continue to Casablanca, visit the great Hassan II Mosque. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakech
Departure to the red city Marrakech. we will visit the medina with a local guide. Discovery of historical sites and souks. night in a magnificent Riad.
Day 3: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait ben haddou
We cross the High Atlas, on our way, we will stop at Tizi n tichka 2260m view of the Atlas. Then we will continue our adventure in Morocco towards the Ait ben haddou kasbah. Visit of the Kasbah. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Kasbah Ait ben haddou – Agdz village
After your breakfast, we will explore Ouarzazate, the cinema capital of Morocco… We will visit the oasis of Draa and have a glass of tea and lunch in this valley of palm trees. Visit of the Kasbah of Tamnougalt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Agdz – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we will drive to the Sahara desert of Merzouga, we will pass by the Berber village Nkob and Tazarine. To reach Rissani, we will then proceed to Merzouga where we will pick up our camels and begin the camel trekking experience. You will admire the sunset in the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Midelt
Our desert journey continues after a beautiful sunrise, breakfast and a camel ride. We will visit the fossils in Erfoud then we will continue towards the Ziz valley, Dejeuenr a Midelt. You will explore this city of the Middle Atlas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Midelt – Azrou – Fes
Breakfast and we will explore the cedar forest to see the monkeys in the forest. Take great photos. visit Ifrane. Continuation to Fez. Dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 8: Guided tour of Fes
After breakfast, we will visit the old medina of Fez el Bali the historic heart of Fez, it is the oldest district of Fez. In addition to the souks of the medina and the Kairaouine mosque, we will then visit the Merinid tombs built in the 14th century and the Weapons Museum, a very rich collection of ancient weapons from prehistory to the middle of the 20th century. Return to the hotel to spend the night.
Day 9: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
We will leave from Fez towards Chefchaouen. We will visit Meknes and discover the great gate of the medina and the mausoleum of Molay Ismail. From there we will travel to Volubilis, a site of Roman ruins. After the guided tour of this archaeological site, we will continue to Chefchaouen the blue city of northern Morocco. Dinner and night in a magnificent riad.
Day 10: Guided tour of Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you will meet your guide to stroll through the picturesque alleys of the old medina and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Chefchaouen. As you stroll through the bustling streets of the medina, learn about Moroccan culture, history and traditions. Halfway through the tour, stop at a traditional local restaurant for lunch. Then you can take great photos. Discover the red kasbah, the main square. Dinner and night in your riad.
Day 11: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier
We leave for Tangier after your breakfast. We stop in Tetouan for a break. Then we continue to Tangier. We will drop you off at your accommodation or at the airport.
