Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech Transfer to Imlil village
After your welcome at Marrakech airport, we transfer you to the village of Imlil in the High Atlas Mountains. This Berber village in the High Atlas is very beautiful and known for its beautiful landscapes. You will visit the village which offers a magnificent view of the High Atlas and the summit of Toubkal 4176m. We will spend the night in a local’s house.
Day 2: Imlil Valley – Ouarzazate
After your breakfast, we leave for Ouarzazate through the Atlas Mountains via Tizi n Tichka 2260m. Visit of the kasbah of Telouet and crossing of the Ounila valley to reach the kasbah Ait ben haddou. Visit of the famous kasbah with a local guide. Lunch and continuation to Ouarzazate where we will visit the film studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt. We will spend the night in a hotel with dinner.
Day 3: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades gorges -Todra gorges – Erfoud
A day full of visits and discoveries, we will go to the oasis of Skoura to visit the Kasbah Amridil. From there, we will cross the valley of roses to reach Kelaa M’gouna. We will visit a cooperative of cosmetics made from locally harvested roses. Then our journey will take us to Boumalne Dadès following the Dades valley. We stop in Boumalne to take some nice pictures of the valley. From there we continue to Tinghir. We continue to the Todra gorges. Lunch and visit of the gorges. From there, we head towards Erfoud. Passage through Tinjdad and Touroug. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Erfoud.
Day 4: Erfoud – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi
After your breakfast, we will visit the fossils, then we will leave for the desert of Merzouga, we will visit the village of Khamila known by its Gnaoua musicians. Special Berber lunch. Then, you will be invited to a camel ride to reach the bivouac in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Admire the sunset in the dunes, spend a wonderful night at the bivouac in nomad tents with dinner.
Day 5: Merzouga excursion
You come back early to discover the charm of the sunrise. After your breakfast we go to visit the nomads in their tents, discover how they live the desert nomads. Then we go to Taouz to discover the rock engravings. From there we return to Merzouga, have lunch, before continuing our adventure to the bivouac. Camel ride, enjoy the tranquility of the Sahara, also enjoy a lively evening with Berber music. Dinner around the campfire. Sleep in a Berber tent.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Tazarine – Zagora
After a nomadic breakfast, we ride a camel to the foot of the dunes. Then we go to Rissani. Discovery of the traditional sounds of the market. Continuation to Zagora. We will cross the magnificent desert landscapes of southern Morocco passing through Alnif and Tazarine. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Zagora.
Day 7: Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After your breakfast, we will visit the pottery workshops of Tamgroute, then we will continue to Ouarzazate. We will follow the Draa valley to Agdz. Visit of the Tamnougalt Kasbah and continuation to Ouarzazate. From there, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech. Dinner and night in a Riad.
Day 8: Guided tour of Marrakech
After breakfast, you will have a guided tour with a local guide. Visit the historical sites of the medina. The Badi Palace, and Bahia. The Ben Youssef schools… Dinner and overnight in your riad.
Day 9: Excursion to Essaouira
In the morning after your breakfast. We leave for Essaouira. You will discover on the way a cooperative of argan oil, you will also take beautiful pictures of the goats climbing on the argan trees. Visit of the sqale port, the medina with its beautiful handicraft shops. fish lunch in a restaurant near the beach. return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in your riad.
Day 10: Transfer to the airport
We transfer you to Marrakech airport.
